South Penquite Farm

Dear Gwion Yes I had considered the Welsh Black - one of my neighbours has a fantastic herd of them - and it would produce a great moorland animal. One of the things that swayed me towards the North Devon though is the 'localness' of the breed. There is plenty of choice of Bulls around here and I thought that selling the meat would be easier with a local breed. Logically I suppose I should ditch my Cheviot sheep for Devon & Cornwall Longwools as well!
